Background
I became aware of homeopathy just after the birth of my first child
and have been passionate about it ever since. My newborn baby suffered
from colic and cried all through the night before he was treated
by a local homeopath and his symptoms subsided. Ever since I have
used homeopathy, as well as conventional medicine, to manage my
family's health.
As soon as the opportunity arose, I made the decision to take a
three-year course in homeopathy at the Lakeland College of Homeopathy
and graduated in July 2006.
I enjoy using homeopathy to support and empower my clients through
a healing process.
I am also a member of The Complementary Therapists Association.
A
Consultation
Everything you say will be treated in complete
confidence. Your consultation is
a 'safe space', an environment of trust, where you can take the
time to share your experience and explore your situation more fully.
The initial consultation takes up to one and a half hours during
which I will ask a series of questions in order to make as full
an assessment as possible of your physical, mental and emotional
wellbeing. This will go back as far as your birth history, if you
know it, and your parents' and grandparents' medical histories.
Area of Special Interest
Autistic Spectrum Condition, including ADHD, learning difficulties,
dyslexia and dyspraxia.
I have found homeopathic medicine particularly helpful for my son,
who has been diagnosed on the autistic
spectrum (Asperger Syndrome) and can draw on this
personal experience to help other children and their families to
deal with a diagnosis of autism and to realise their full potential.
I can also offer suggestions with regard to diet and environment
and useful books and websites to support both individuals and families.
